INTRODUCING PHOTOGRAPHER TAL
My name is Tal Even-Hen , also known to my visual admirers as “Cleo”. I am a 25 years old, biracial, freelance photographer originally from Ottawa and currently residing in Montreal. I am presently completing my Psychology undergrad and continuously pursuing my freelance photography career in between it all.
WHERE DID IT ALL START?
My parents set me up to become the art-oriented person that I am today. From early childhood until adolescence, I was placed in various types of dance classes, along with piano and singing lessons… just to name a few. No sports. At the age of sixteen, with the strong influence of my best friend, a photography enthusiast, I immersed myself into my perception of the world of photography. This life-changing hobby was perfect for me. Being the introvert that I am, I have finally found a way to express my thoughts and moods by using visuals rather than words. With no personal preconception of the technicalities of this art medium, after countless of hours of experimentation and with the grains of knowledge given to me by more experienced photographers in Ottawa, I am proud to consider myself a self-taught visual artist. My photography style has shifted a few times throughout the years. However, the consistent factors that I hold on to dearly is beauty of simplicity, clarity and harmony.LIFE IS COMPLICATED SO I KEEP MY ART SIMPLE.
